Tea with Grandma

Rolled curls and
Dull pearls.
Warm your shallow bones
On a China cup.
Grasp a spoon of silver.
Sensible heels and
High ideals.
Ever the lady,
Four and a crooked one
Stands alone as you sip.
Cracked ruby rim.
Twinset parts,
A fragile heart.
